Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
"AUTISM IS TREATABLE, AND RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE"
(The Autism Research Institute, USA)

Does your child have:
- Speech delay

These symptoms, in addition to specific lab findings, are indications of a child with ASD.
Nutritional therapy must be carefully individualised. There are 6 basic dietary plans that will help a childs' recovery - usually one of the six will be sufficient, sometimes a combination of two or more may be indicated.
The GLUTEN FREE,CASEIN FREE DIET is the most often recommended and produces a positive response in 60-70% of children with ASD.
Supplementation therapy is integral to the recovery program. Common nutrient deficiencies include: calcium, selenium, zinc, magnesium, iron, cysteine, B12, B6, methionine, EFA's, Vitamins A, D, E. Common nutrient excesses include copper and glutamate.
Detoxification may be required due to heavy metal toxicity and environmental chemicals. Glutathione, a protein, is critical for binding and detoxifying heavy metals and chemicals.
Allergies, Eczema, Asthma
Food allergies have increased by approximately 700% in the last 10 years.
Allergies and sensitivities often trigger, contribute to, or mimic:
- ASD
- ADHD
- Chronic ear infection
- Cognitive and mood disorders
- Digestive disorders
- Eczema, hives
- Hypoglycaemia
- Insomnia
- Obesity
- Sinusitus
Children can be effectively and safely treated using natural medicines, with environmental and lifestyle adjustments. Often we can avoid the excessive reliance on cortisone, puffers, antibiotics and grommets, which are only short term, "band-aid" solutions, that come with their own problems if used long term.
