In the last 30 days have any of the following happened to you?
Does your body jerk or startle when falling asleep?
Do you have difficulty switching your mind off and relaxing?
Do you experience neck pain, joint pain and/or lower back pain in bed?
Are you a shift worker?
Do you sleep less than 5 hours/night or more than 9 hours?
Do you suffer from irritable bowel illness?
Do you have difficulty losing weight?
Do you snore or sleep with your mouth open?
Do you have difficulty waking up in the morning?
Do you feel irritable during the day?
Do you wake up tired in the morning?
Do you crave stimulants ( sugar coffee chocolate cigarettes) during the day?
There are different STAGES OF SLEEP, so if you regularly experience some of these (and the full sleep questionnaire is much more comprehensive), then it’s important to address if it’s a circadian rhythm issue or REM or NON-REM issue.
Fatigue, brain fog, irritability, headaches, weight gain, heart issues are all important factors that can be associated with poor sleep.
If you’d like to dig deeper please let me know and I’ll send you the full questionnaire.
If you already know your sleep is an issue, let me say there are lots of good everyday interventions we can incorporate as well as some gentle herbs and nutrients to help in the initial phase.
